JOB PURPOSE
To Promote and implements human resource values by planning and managing human resources functions.
KEY RESULT AREAS/MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Provide overall guidance and direction to the HR areas of Reward,
employee relations and welfare, internal communication and engagement,
performance and development, as well as recruitment.
2. Work together with the executive management in the annual review of company's compensation and benefits program
3. Drive internal communication and boost morale, communicate changes and updates on HR policies and procedures
4. Drive a people-related change management exercise
5. Manage complex relationships
6. Build a strong HR Team in the operation
7. A business partner for the management team
8.
Develop and update on a regular basis, a strategic HR (action) plan
that contributes to the overall company goals and plans and make
recommendations for improvement of company policies, procedures and
human resource related issues.
9. Deliver the HR KPIs
10. Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensure company's compliance
11. Develop and implement a development programme to ensure the structured training and development of employees
12. Ensure fully compliant with SOX requirements
Qualifications:
Education background.
1. University degree, HRM, Sociology, Psychology oriented
2. MBA is a plus
Skills& Knowledge
1. Knowledge of the Tanzanian Labour Law is a must
2. Has experience in complex change processes
3. High integrity and strong character
4. Extensive experience within the HR field, experience in the business is a plus
5. Ability to be innovative, think outside the box and challenge the status quo
6. A good commercial / financial background
7. Have problem solving and analytical Skills, can think on a strategic level
8. Excellent human relations and communication skills
9. Demonstrate a deep understanding of HR concepts and application of tools and models
10. Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in HR
